
There seems to be a "water" texture overlayed on the screen in Atlantis, if that gets corrupted it's basically unplayable till you reload.

Once you get access to the portal this isn't so bad of an issue because you can use the process of loading to/from the main hub to "reset" the textures if you have invisible enemies or an important texture gets broken. *Models/textures/lighting have a chance to corrupt when loading into a level, but don't seem to do this consistently. *Music and other ambient sounds break after a few seconds, keep music turned off if you value your hearing.

I've played through the first few minutes of Atlantis (the 3rd mission) so far, with protect_zero=false.
